It's begining to look alot like Christmas

The title sums it up. The snow has come. The weather guys in town said that this is the biggest snow system that we've gotten since '96-'97 winter. Nothing much happening today, except catching up on our laziness. :) Which I can't complain about. I didn't get any before pictures, but below are plenty of during pictures.

I know this is suppose to be about our big storm, but I realized we haven't had a picture of Baxter up yet. So he gets to be front and center.

Below are two picture outside our front door. It looks like the neighbors across the street will have a lot more shoveling to do then us. :)

Below is a picture out our kitchen window. Looking to the west.

Baxter was very interested in the storm. I am guessing it was all the noise from the wind. Above is a picture of him trying to sneak a look outside at our porch doors.

And here I thought that we wouldn't have much to shovel, but look what a surprise I got when I opened the garage for a minute to take a picture. The drift is about 3 feet tall.

First, Bolt in 3D!!!! then Nancy Xmas list

We decided to go and see a movie yesterday, and figured we would see the new Disney/Pixar movie Bolt. Got a picture of Nancy with her phone. It didn't turn out well at all but I was able to manage to get it to come in better with adjusting the picture quality settings. Not only was it available in regular, but they are also showing it in 3D! Might I say, i was extremely impressed by it. 3D movies have gone a looooong way from the old red/blue paper cardboard glasses. These were electronic ones. The usher had a hard time turning them on due to having to squeeze the glasses the correct way. And it is the type of movie were you must wear the glasses. It isn't like other movies. It is all blurry without them. But I do say that I will try and see these 3D movies more often now that they are showing here :-) Id like to try and find our own 3D glasses due to the high $2 rental charge per set per movie that they charge :-(

On another note, Nancy needs her Christmas list on here:

Wii Hasbro Family Game Night (Best Buy and Target has it on sale for $29.99 through Sat Dec. 13th)

The Office: Season 4 (Best Buy has on sale for $29.99 through Sat Dec. 13th, and a free calendar with it ;-) )

iPod speakers/docking station (something small for my desk at work :-), needs to plug into outlet, not a computer. If it has a digital clock it is a bonus, but not required)

Shirts (XL) or shoes (8ish, include receipt) (no trust in buying pants for me, hehehehehe :) (New York & Co., Target)
one example of boots, but also need normal dress shoes.... like the pinky purplish ones

Math T-Shirts from www.Cafepress.com
1) 2977121371 White XLG
2) 32358347 Blue XLG
3) 59379110 White XLG
4) 193420721 Purple XLG

Feel free to get me other things that you know would interest me, like games and anything that screams NANCY!!!!!. The links are for visual reference and are not required to purchase at that location. hehehehehehe

Getting the house to warm up

Well, finally getting the house to warm up very well. And without using a lot of heat from the furnace!!!! First thing was new drapes in the bedroom that are thermal insulated. I sure noticed a difference the first few weeks. Yesterday, we put on the 3M plastic on the downstairs windows. I think Nancy is starting to notice a difference, but I'm really warm myself. Today we got some insulated lining fabric from Joann's Fabrics. I can tell it is going to darken the upstairs during the day, but will know for sure after a month or so when we get our electric bill. After last night and the windows, I did sure notice that the furnace hasn't kicked on as often as the day before. I'd post pics but didn't think that everyone wants to see plastic on windows :-)

Day 1!!!!

Well, this is it.  Our attempt at being "Cool" and having our own blog, since you know we are beginning our marriage  stuff, and stuff, and stuff, and more marriage stuff.  So check back often, or not.  Don't expect a nightly ritual of updates of our lives....... but you may never know! :)
